PDAHomecareNet's Windows Mobile-based point-of-care solution offers an inexpensive, flexible and efficient tool for home visits. Hand held devices extend the functionality of HomecareNet into the field. Clinicians of any discipline can record assessment data, clinical notes, medication information and other key information during a home visit. They capture and deliver patient data back to the home office more efficiently than paper based systems, eliminating duplicate data entry and expediting the billing process.

For agencies on tight budgets, Windows Mobile devices offer a low-cost hardware alternative to laptops and tablets. They are substantially less expensive and more portable than laptops, and the intuitive nature of the interface allows for less training time for clinicians.

A user can synchronize the mobile device to exchange data with HomecareNet over a virtual private network (VPN) in a variety of ways, including using a wireless modem, a WiFi connection, or a PC with broadband connectivity. Data entered into HomecareNet Mobile never has to be entered into the system again. This not only reduces data-input errors, but it also saves time for field and office staff. Time savings directly correlates to money savings for your organization.

OASIS and Clinical Component Modules are designed to provide maximum flexibility and ease of entry. You can choose from hundreds of assessment screens and organize them to fit your assessment process, or to improve it. 485 and OASIS data is automatically validated: the system summarizes omitted data and allows staff to answer questions prior to completing the visit.
