Healthcare Automation's General Manager, Jennifer Keiser is Awarded Harvard Masters Degree
Warwick, RI (July 7, 2005) - Healthcare Automation, Inc. (HAI) is pleased to announce that its Software General Manager, Jennifer Keiser, has been awarded a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Harvard University.
"Jennifer's commitment to self improvement, her family and HAI is evident in everything she does," says HAI CEO Ken Pereira. "We are proud to have a Harvard Master at the helm of our software division, a group that she leads and inspires every day."
In attaining this goal, Keiser has led HAI's software group through an amazing transformation. In 2003, she led the introduction of HomecareNet, a sophisticated information system for home healthcare providers and, in 2004, expanded the product to automate HAI's home infusion customer base.
"This effort is a great example of how Jennifer is unique in balancing her family, professional and educational pursuits," says Pereira. "During this time, she overlapped her professional and educational efforts as she authored her thesis, 'Usability Solutions: Choosing the Right Swing Component,' a case study of superior user interfaces deployed in HomecareNet."
Keiser has been at HAI since 1991, and is an expert in its products and the industry. "She's led every discipline at the company and is the chief designer of HomecareNet," says Pereira. "It is her close working relationships with customers that distinguishes her. She truly cares about the customer and the products they use every day."
Keiser's degree culminates a five-year effort. She also holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and spends her free time with her husband Jay and two-year-old son, Riley.
