Healthcare Automation to Offer Demos, Training and Cocktail Party at NHIA
Warwick, RI (February 12, 2007) - Healthcare Automation, Inc. (HAI) is pleased to announce a full array of activities at that National Home Infusion Association Annual Conference in Savannah, Georgia, Feb. 26-28, 2007.
In addition to a booth in the NHIA exposition hall at the Savannah Convention Center, HAI is offering in-depth demos of HomecareNet; a day of free, advanced training for current HomecareNet users; and a cocktail party at celebrity chef Paula Dean's restaurant, Lady & Sons. HAI's Jeanne Lugli, manager of reimbursement services, will also be participating in the NHIA's educational curriculum, leading a panel of reimbursement experts on Dealing with Difficult Payers.
"This industry is our base," says CEO Ken Pereira. "HAI has offered software services to the home infusion market since 1988, longer than any other company. The NHIA Annual Conference is the idea place to showcase our latest offerings and to connect with our clients." HAI also offers integrated software and reimbursement services to HME and home health/hospice providers, as well as organizations that offer a combination of all three services.
"The best way to evaluate our software is to see it in action," continues Pereira. "That's why we're presenting in-depth, one-on-one demos to home infusion providers considering a new enterprise solution." To provide the most convenient venue for viewing these demos, HAI is offering them right in the Convention Center, the hub of the Conference activities.
In addition to this full day of training, HAI's Jeanne Lugli, a member of the NHIA's Payer Relations Committee, will lead a panel discussion as part of the NHIA's reimbursement track. Joining Jeanne will be three HomecareNet users: Richelle Colucci from Walnut Home Therapeutics, Sue Brajdic from Chartwell Pennsylvania, and Mary Eckstein from Chartwell Midwest Wisconsin. The session will offer tried-and-true strategies for dealing with difficult payers in infusion reimbursement.
HAI is also taking advantage of the proximity of so many HomecareNet clients in the same place at the same time. "Our most successful training opportunity each year is our User Conference," says Michael Kraft, HAI's director of client services. "We wanted to extend that outreach with a day of training to any of our users attending NHIA." The training sessions are free to HomecareNet clients and cover advanced topics such as real-time adjudication, document tracking and advanced reporting functionality.
Continuing a tradition at NHIA, HAI is hosting a cocktail party during the event. HAI is excited to offer the fare of Food Network chef Paula Deen at her restaurant, The Lady & Sons. Famous for traditional Southern fare and seafood, The Lady & Sons is an ideal venue to showcase the unique offerings of Savannah's historic downtown.
