Jeanne Lugli - General Manager, Reimbursement Services
Employed at Healthcare Automation since December 1993, Jeanne has been responsible for managing Healthcare Automation's Reimbursement Services in Andover, Massachusetts since October 1995. Jeanne concentrates on developing new business ventures for Reimbursement Services while overseeing the success of over ten full-service Reimbursement Center customers, and thirty-five full time employees. In addition to managing Reimbursement Services, Jeanne provides consulting services to new and existing clients on a variety of reimbursement topics. Jeanne has over 20 years of IV reimbursement experience including positions at Caremark, Inc. and Home Intensive Care, Inc.
Jennifer Keiser - General Manager, Software
As General Manager of Software, Jen brings with her more than 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Jen has been a champion of the customer in numerous management roles at HAI, including Director of Customer Service, Director of Product Management and Vice President of Implementations. Jen's efforts in these areas resulted in the successful development and release of 3 software product lines geared toward the home health and home infusion markets. Her ability to establish close working relationships with customers has been a critical aspect of HAI's success. Prior to joining HAI, she held software development positions at Illinois firms Caterpillar, Inc. and Profit Management Development. Her technical background includes programming and database management.
Jen holds a B.S in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master's in Information Technology from Harvard University.
Ken Pereira, CEO
Ken Pereira is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Healthcare Automation, Inc. (HAI). Ken grew HAI from a small consulting business to a worldwide healthcare software provider. Under Ken's leadership, HAI was recognized as an Inc. 500 company three years in a row and was listed in the Top 100 software companies by Software magazine. Ken is also a co-owner of Oridium, LLC, a software venture management firm. Ken has served as CEO of Tradesafe.com, an innovative online payment processing firm serving Amazon.com, Lycos, eBay, Fleet Bank and over a hundred Internet auction sites. He has also held various management positions at National Medical Care, Protocare and Gulf & Western.
Ken received a B.S.B.A. from Bryant College and an MBA from Babson College. In 1989, he was a Winner of the Douglas Entrepreneurial Prize at Babson College and in 1994 he was a Finalist for the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Ken is also actively involved in The Tomorrow Fund, a local charity for children with cancer and has most recently served as co-chair for its largest annual fundraising event.
David A. Belhumeur, President
David Belhumeur is the President of Healthcare Automation, Inc. He is also a co-owner of Oridium, LLC, a software venture management firm. David has served as CFO of NationStreet, Inc., an Internet Capital Group company. In 1999, David was instrumental in the execution of one of the region's most successful IPOs - NaviSite, Inc., a CMGI company. In addition, David served as CFO of Daly & Wolcott, Inc., where he helped guide the company's transformation from a local services-based firm into a highly successful nationwide provider of distribution management software.
Mr. Belhumeur received his Masters degree (MBA) with honors from Bryant College in 1991 and his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Bryant in 1979. He is a CPA and member of the state Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. David has been involved with several local charities and recently served as president of The Tomorrow Fund at Hasbro Children's Hospital, a local charity that provides financial and emotional support to children with cancer and their families.
David is an active member of the Rhode Island Technology Council, most recently having served as its Program Committee Co-Chair for the Venture 2002 Conference.
