Technical Software Support Analyst
Healthcare Automation is seeking an experienced Software Support Analyst to provide technical support for our HomecareNet and Encounter products to customers located across the U.S.
Our ideal candidate will have a positive, customer-oriented attitude with a track record of delivering uncommonly excellent customer service. Specific responsibilities will include:
Primary responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and answering questions, via telephone and e-mail, from customers requesting assistance with support on application software.
- Perform immediate analysis of customer issues and directs the implementation of a corrective action. Escalation to next levels of support as needed.
- Maintain constant lines of communication with customers and management.
- Strong verbal communication skills are required.
- Testing of new software releases/patches. Re-creation of customer issues
- Written analysis of problems identified and resolution results. Record all incidents in a call tracking system.
- Strong team player and enjoys working in a fast paced team atmosphere.
- Support center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm. After hours support coverage based on a rotating schedule.
Prerequisites include:
- Minimum of an Associates degree - Bachelor's degree preferred - in computer science or a closely related field.
- Two years' technical support experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare/pharmacy software applications and/or work experience a plus.
- Knowledge of: Microsoft Office suite, relational database applications, and remote communications (eg VPNs.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server a plus.
- Critical thinking, decision-making, and multi-tasking aptitudes.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
