Network Administrator

Healthcare Automation, a leading provider of software to the nationwide home health care industry, is seeking a Network Administrator for its rapidly growing business. Located in Warwick, Rhode Island, HAI has clients throughout the USA.

Responsibilities include:

Security

• Maintain and preserve network security and stability
• Ensure proper backups and secure storage of backups
• Maintain users and security privileges; orient new HAI staff to network procedures
• Develop and document security procedures and monitor compliance with HIPAA regulations

Network Management

• Maintain software license library and equipment inventory; purchase new hardware and software. Plan and implement software upgrades.
• Provide technical support for HAI staff's use of hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Configure and add to network all new servers and workstations.
• Monitor network and disk usage. Monitor up-time and maintain web server.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange server.
• Maintain SonicWall firewalls, both Warwick and Andover. Configure, document, and troubleshoot connectivity to customer and other remote sites.
• Assist HAI's technical support personnel and customers with Citrix/Terminal Server login and/or printer issues.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on each, and communicate status is essential.

Prerequisites include:

• Minimum of an Associates Degree in network management, computer science, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a network administrator.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, LAN/WAN management, and remote connectivity (VPNs, RDP, firewall configuration).
