Eligibility - First of the month following date of hire.
(This applies to all benefits including vacation and sick time.)

Medical

Healthcare Automation's health plan is with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Each employee has a choice of Blue Chip (HMO) or Healthmate - Coast to Coast (PPO).

Dental

Healthcare Automation has a Dental Plan provided by Delta Dental of Rhode Island.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Healthcare Automation provides a fully paid policy equal to one times an employee's annual salary to a maximum of $125,000.

Short Term Disability

Available to all non-RI based employees. A contributory plan providing benefits at 60 percent of salary up to a weekly maximum of $500.

Long Term Disability

We provide a fully paid policy that provides benefits at 60% of an employee's monthly earnings up to a maximum of $5,000 per month.

401(k)

Employees are eligible to join the plan on their 6-month anniversary. The company may make a discretionary contribution to the plan on an annual basis.

Vacation Time

Our accrual policy is outlined as follows:


Years Employed at Healthcare Automation Vacation Time
0-3 Years Two weeks
4-7 Years Three Weeks
8 + Years Four Weeks

Part time employees accrue on a pro-rated basis.

Sick Time

Employees are allowed 5 sick days per calendar year. A sick time bonus plan is available to employees with above average attendance records.

Holidays

10 paid holidays are celebrated annually.

Healthcare Automation Standards Award

Supervisors and staff are encouraged to recognize employees who exhibit qualities that support our company mission. On a quarterly basis, Healthcare Automation recognizes up to three individuals for their efforts, who are eligible to receive a cash bonus or a day off with pay.
